CONTEST! Win an original print!

To celebrate the launch of my prints (yay!) and the wrap of my photo show, I've decided to run the very first Superflash contest!  You can enter to win one of my original prints from the Seeing Sound gallery (your choice - subject to availability - photos can be seen here).

The winner of this contest will receive one unframed print of their choice - signed by me if desired!  Contest is open to everyone across North America (however if you're in the Toronto ON, or St. Petersburg FL areas, and can arrange to meet me for a pickup, I'm happy to give you the framed version!)

How to enter (not all forms of entries will apply to you, but each time you enter a separate comment increases your odds of winning):

1.  Leave a comment if you've liked Superflash Photography on facebook
2.  Leave a comment if you share this giveaway on Facebook
3.  Leave a comment if you retweet this to twitter: "I entered to #win an original print by @superflashphoto and you can too! http://bit.ly/ztSIqf "
4.  Leave a comment if you repin the above photo to pinterest
5.  Leave a comment if you share this contest on your blog or website or add the button below to your sidebar
6.  Leave a comment if you share this on other social media of your choice

Feel free to grab this button to link on your blog/site:

The contest will end on Friday March 9, 2012,  at Noon Eastern Time, and the winner will be announced on this blog, as well as contacted via email (so please make sure you enter a way for me to contact you!).  Odds of winning depends on the amount of entries received.

Good luck!

Seeing Sound wrap-up & BIG announcement!

My gallery show at Vesuvio's Pizza has officially wrapped up, and I just wanted to send a big thank you!  Thank you to Vesuvio's, for hosting my art, and thank you to everyone that visited and got in touch with me about it!  It was a very positive experience, and I've heard lots of good things back.

Many of the photos that you saw hanging at the gallery are available for sale.  Please email me for more information - prices are negotiable, and we can work out shipping or pickups.  All the images that were in the gallery can be seen here.
But, if you avoided the prints because of the size or matting or framing... I'd like to announce something super special that I've been working on for a while:

I've partnered with imagekind.com to offer prints of my photos to the public!

When you click on the link, you'll notice three galleries of photos, including the photos that were most recently featured in my Seeing Sound exhibit.  Through imagekind, you'll be able to choose the size of print you want, plus matting and framing options - if you decide you'd like to do this through the site, rather than on your own.  If you prefer, there are also gallery wrap canvases available, as well as many other options.
Imagekind prints use high quality inks and papers.

If there is a particular image of mine that you've seen and are interested in, please let me know, and I will upload the high resolution image to imagekind for you!

Once again, I would like to thank everyone for all the support I've received!  When I first started taking pictures, I never would have thought I'd have my own gallery show, I'd be commissioned for photo shoots, and I'd be able to offer up my own images!  This is an absolute dream come true, and I couldn't have done it without you.

Calvin the Cat... part 2

Calvin the Cat makes his second appearance on this blog, with some portraits that I shot of him in Florida (along with the more skittish Kirby - amazingly, she sat still for the camera for two of these shots!)

P.S. This is the last weekend to check out my photo exhibit, Seeing Sound if you're in the Toronto area!  You can see the photos at Vesuvio's Pizza: 3010 Dundas St. W. Toronto ON.
